  8. INTRODUCTION
  9.  
  10. PEM EdTex is a powerful 32bit text editor for Windows 95. It's able to edit 
  11. maximum about 4,000,000 characters and 60,000 lines. It has the following 
  12. features.
  13.   Cabinet : Save, restore and change the environment for editting.
  14.   Marker  : Bookmark and Text mark. They are saved and restored.
  15.   Color   : Color C/C++ keywords and user's definition keywords.
  16.             Customize text, background, enter mark, keyword,--- colors.
  17.   Find In Files : Search for strings in text files.
  18.   Record/Play   : Record operations and play, save and restore it.
  19.   Customize : Change defualt key assignments and append new ones.
  20.               Register your own tools in the tool menu.
  21.               Change the layout of the toolbar and change tool buttons.
  22.   Ruler   : Offer column ruler and line ruler.
  23.   Printing: Print texts with line numbers, page numbers, date, time, header,                footer and favorite font.
  24.   Others  : Word wrap, Auto indent, Multiple undo/redo, Block editting, ...

  27.   - Recieve a personal register ID to remove the nag-screen.

  30. REGISTRATION

  32. PEM EdTex is Shareware. After an evaluation period( 20 days )you must 
  33. register it by the following procedures.
  34.  
  35.  1. You send the registration fee to the author.
  36.     - The registration fee is 20 US dollars( $20 US).
  37.     - Please use CompuServe Registration system to send it.
  38.         - Type GO SWREG at any ! prompt.
  39.         - PEM EdTex has a registration ID of 7834

  41.  2. You receive your register ID from the author.
  42.     - Once I receive notification of your registration from CompuServe,
  43.       I will send you your register ID by CompuServe email.

  45.  3. Please type it in to the Registration dialog in PEM EdTex.

  48. INSTALLATION

  50.  The compressed file contains the following files:

  52.   EDTEX.EXE            - Windows executable file
  53.   EDTEX.HLP            - Windows help file
  54.   MUSCRL32.DLL        - Windows DLL

  56.   README.ATR        - Attribute file of README.TXT
